Long Term Care

As a long-term care pharmacy (LTCP), we provide medications and consultant pharmacy services to long-term care facilities such as nursing homes.

As a LTCP, we provide continuous access to a pharmacist as well as offer emergency delivery of medication.

​

Our main focus is to ensure that patients have access to their medication therapies in a timely manner.

Multi-Dose Pill Packaging

You may find that you have been prescribed a number of medications, and that you need to take them at different times of the day.

Vaccinations

The following vaccinations are available from Nutmeg LTC Pharmacy

.

FLU - We carry both the 65 year and over  'High Dose' FluAD and the quartenary strain - FLUCELVAX

​

SHINGLES - SHINGRIX vaccine is a 2 dose scheduled  vaccination ( call for availability )

​

PNEUMONIA - Prevnar-13 and Prevnar-23 another 2 dose vaccination

​

T-DAP - Now a 'necessity' for new grandparents, especially if your last 'pertussis' vaccination was greater than 10 years ago.

​

TETANUS - After your initial Tetanus series, 'Booster shots' are recommended every 10 years.

​

MMR - Measles, Mumps and Rubella. A 2 dose vaccination for children 9 to 15 months, with a second dose for children between 15 months and 6 years of age.

Flu Clinics
